As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, you will serve in a leadership role by providing technical guidance and oversight for multiple technical teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing overall direction and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers.
  • Ensuring the successful execution and implementation of processes and procedures.
  • Designing and delivering trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
  • Facilitating collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
  • Identifying and mitigating issues to execute a book of work while escalating concerns as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Experience leading technologists to manage complex technical items within their domain of expertise.
  • Advanced understanding of database backup, recovery, and archiving strategy with practical experience in SQL and NoSQL.
  • Ability to guide and coach teams on approach to achieve goals aligned against strategic initiatives.
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency & Security.
