Project Overview:

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to maintain and develop solutions for our clients in the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and enhance digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees.


• Apply software engineering best practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment.


• Ensure solution quality, security, reliability, and compliance by implementing digital principles and requirements.


• Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help resolve incidents, and remediate root causes of risks and issues.


• Understand and advocate for client needs.


• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, contribute to hiring processes, and participate in internal communities.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent, focusing on code development and maintenance.


• 8+ years of experience in a similar position, focused on core banking integration in a development role.


• Interest in learning new technologies and practices, reusing strategic platforms and standards, and making long-term sustainable decisions.


• Strong communication skills, including presentation and technical writing abilities.


• Good knowledge of Java and relevant Java tech stack.


• Awareness of 'Clean Code' and clean coding practices.


• Test Driven Development and ability to design Unit, Integration, and Functional tests.


• API-first design.


• Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns, including event-driven systems and Microservices.


• Good troubleshooting skills and hands-on DevOps experience.


• Ability to collaborate with onsite and offshore teams during solution delivery.


• Analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Communication and presentation skills.


• Proactive team player willing to support colleagues when needed.


• Ability to take responsibility for tasks and work independently.
