Public Relations Executive Opportunity Overview

The role of Public Relations Executive is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the success of clients in the IT/Tech/AI/Start-up verticals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and updated on a weekly basis, fostering effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop first drafts of key documents, including press releases, content briefing templates, media briefing documents, responses to media queries, and authored articles that meet high standards.
  • Coordinate the creation and timely submission of Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports, monthly reports, and quarter plans in collaboration with their line manager, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
  • Manage end-to-end coordination for closing opportunities, utilizing strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with media partners, cultivating a network of valuable contacts.
  • Develop 15 new media relationships with correspondents, assistant editors, or other relevant contacts within a year, expanding the client's reach and influence.
  • Disseminate press releases and follow up on coverage, ensuring maximum exposure and impact.
  • Secure one large-format story every quarter in mainstream or financial publications (Tier 1 media), showcasing the client's expertise and thought leadership.
  • Share media opportunity/query emails with partners, facilitating open communication and collaboration.
  • Update partners on coverage received, keeping them informed and engaged.
  • Send morning messages to partners by 10 AM each day, outlining key points for discussion during the next day's meeting, enhancing teamwork and productivity.
  • Upload relevant documents to a shared drive, ensuring secure and easy access for all team members.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders and partners.
  • A strong background in public relations, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in document creation and editing tools, such as Microsoft Office or Google Docs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
