Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Development Manager to join our team at Hengstler. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales growth in the region.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with our channel partners and customers. This includes identifying new business opportunities, providing solutions-based sales support, and ensuring excellent communication quality and priority is maintained.

You will work closely with our internal suppliers and customers, including Operations, Engineering, and Finance teams, to understand their needs and develop tailored sales strategies.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent consultative and solution-based skills, with a proven track record of driving sales growth in a high-tech, value-selling environment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include sales revenue growth, bookings, funnel size and growth, forecast accuracy, and calls/visits per day.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate in a technical discipline or comparable qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years business-to-business sales experience in engineering products, preferably automation Motion Control field.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • English and Hindi required, other languages welcome.
