Job Title:

Social Media Leader

A dynamic and forward-thinking Social Media Leader is required to spearhead the development of engaging social content for our esteemed publication.

This individual will be responsible for adapting global social strategies to local market conditions, managing day-to-day posting and optimization across multiple platforms, and ensuring consistency with our editorial voice and tone.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies that drive audience engagement and meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content and visual assets.
  • Manage social media calendars, scheduling tools, and content repositories.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to inform future content decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and platform changes to ensure our social media presence remains innovative and effective.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including editors, writers, and designers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, suggesting new ideas and initiatives to enhance our social media presence.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a digital publishing environment.
  • Strong writing skills, with ability to craft compelling captions, headlines, and visual storytelling.
  • Proven track record of creating engaging social content that drives audience growth and retention.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with video editing and asset creation a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
