Telecom Network Audit Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Telecom Network Audit professional to conduct internal audits within telecommunications or networking environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough technical audits of telecom network elements, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies, Transmission technologies (Microwave, FTTH, DWDM), and Core networks (Circuit-Switched and Packet-Switched)
  • Analyze data and identify risks associated with telecom network operations, proposing and implementing effective mitigation strategies and controls
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of audit findings, observations, and recommendations, preparing detailed reports for stakeholders and management
  • Liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security professionals, and compliance officers, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments impacting core network operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in telecommunications, computer science, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related field (Network Planning, Design or Operation), preferable in internal audit, Consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Industry
  • Proven track record in conducting internal audits within telecommunications or networking environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and effectively communicate with stakeholders and management

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with Telecom Network technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G
  • Good to have IoT network system and architecture knowledge
  • Significant operational or engineering experience in a Network Operator or Service Provider environment
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with SQL is preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or equivalent certifications would be advantageous
