Treasury Expertise

This role entails overseeing the organization's liquidity, foreign exchange exposures, and investments. A strong background in corporate treasury operations, coupled with financial acumen and stakeholder management skills, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily cash flows to maintain optimal liquidity across geographies.
  • Develop forecasts for short-term and long-term cash requirements.
  • Support initiatives aimed at automating host-to-host payments.
Foreign Exchange and Risk Management
  • Monitor FX exposures and execute hedging strategies according to policy.
  • Calculate MTM valuations and prepare exposure reports.
  • Negotiate FX deals and derivative instruments with banks.
Investments and Fund Management
  • Evaluate and recommend investment options such as fixed deposits, money markets, bonds, etc.
  • Assess risk-return trade-offs and ensure compliance with investment policies.
  • Track portfolio performance, P&L, and maintain investment registers.
Banking and Compliance
  • Interact with domestic and international banks for treasury operations.
  • Negotiate banking terms to reduce cost of borrowing.
  • Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal treasury policies.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare MIS, dashboards, and treasury reports for leadership.
  • Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with accounting and audit teams for accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of corporate treasury operations (liquidity, FX, investments).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and treasury management systems (TMS).
  • Knowledge of hedging instruments, derivatives, and investment options.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with RBI/FEMA compliance preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA in Finance (CFA/FRM preferred).
  • At least 5 years of relevant corporate treasury experience.
  • Experience limited to banking roles will not be considered.
