Senior Project Coordinator Role

As a seasoned project coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include guiding and coordinating with team leads and designers to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project execution plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and scope.
  • Coordinate communication with the project team, stakeholders, and customers to ensure seamless project progression.
  • Monitor and control project schedules, milestones, and contract terms, identifying potential risks and issues early on.
  • Plan and execute engineering activities on projects according to established project execution models under the direction of the engineering head.
  • Act as a primary point of contact and maintain excellent customer relations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement change management systems, monitoring and controlling changes to ensure minimal disruption to the project schedule.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate potential risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with 8-14 years of experience, including minimum 8 years of piping/mechanical detailed engineering experience.
  • Proficient in interface engineering and coordination with customers, involving multiple disciplines such as process, piping, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Experience with 3D model reviews (30%, 60%, & 90%) involving internal teams and customers is highly desirable.
  • Project management tools like Primavera and MS Projects are an added advantage.
  • Software skills in Autocad, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office are mandatory.
  • Experience in similar positions working for EPC projects in oil and gas, power plants, water treatment plants, refineries, and petrochemical plants is essential.
