Automotive Modelling and Clay Studio Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Modelling and Clay Studio Manager to lead our modelling and clay studio teams within the automotive OEM sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience in two-/three-/four-wheeler modelling and clay model building, with strong leadership skills to manage a small team of skilled professionals.

  • Lead vehicle model-building activities for 2-wheeler / 3-wheeler projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Deliver fully finished models for management presentations, showcasing design intent and innovation.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering / Testing / Protoshop), facilitating collaboration and driving results.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve model issues while maintaining design intent, leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage and mentor junior modelers in clay and other model-making processes, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing.

  • Experience in clay modeling and finishing, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Requirements:

- 4-7 years of experience in leading Modelling & Clay Studio teams within the automotive OEM sector.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.

- Experience in clay modeling and finishing, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve model issues, with a keen eye for detail and a solutions-oriented mindset.
