Cloud Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled cloud engineer to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS services.

  • Create robust cloud architecture to support scalable and secure contact centers.
  • Develop expertise in integrating Amazon Connect with other AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Lex, Polly, Kinesis, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues in cloud-based telephony and IVR systems.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch).
  • Understanding of cloud-based telephony / contact center concepts (IVR, call routing, queues, chat, voice bots).
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Node.js preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Automation scripts to streamline workflow.
  • Containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
