Investment Finance Specialist

The Investment Finance Specialist plays a pivotal role in the structured finance space, collaborating closely with clients to comprehend their investment requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret legal agreements to ensure client onboarding accuracy.
  • Support clients in risk and exposure monitoring of transactions.
  • Calculate and monitor covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, and other key metrics/tests.
  • Lead daily operations of workstreams, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Liaise with Business Analysts and Implementation teams to guarantee data accuracy on proprietary platforms.
  • Mentor team members to enhance learning curves.
  • Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios, sharing critical aspects proactively.
  • Standardize and streamline processes, establishing SOPs around deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of structured finance products, corporate credit landscape, and ABL/CLO/Middle Market Portfolio Financing.
  • In-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel.
  • Understanding of various financial databases, including Bloomberg and Capital IQ.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Graduation with an MBA or advanced degree in finance (CFA, CAIA, FRM) is desired.
  • Prior experience of at least 3-5 years in Investment Banking, Investment Management, or Financial Advisory firms.
