Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Senior Accountant/Vendor Master Data Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day Vendor Master Data operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all records.

About the Role
  • Create/Modify vendor master records as per defined procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of vendor master data records
  • Regularly update vendor information based on business requirements
  • Perform vendor master data validation tasks as required
  • Adhere to data governance policies and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
  1. Vendor Master Record Management: Create/modify vendor master records in accordance with established procedures
  2. Data Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure accuracy and completeness of vendor master data records, adhering to data governance policies and regulatory requirements
  3. Information Updates: Regularly update vendor information based on business requirements
  4. Validation Tasks: Perform vendor master data validation tasks as required
  5. Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with Client procurement, sales, finance, and operations teams to gather required information for new vendor creation or updates to existing vendor data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration
  • Relevant work experience in a global environment, preferably in hi-tech, manufacturing, and IT distribution industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience in different geographical time zones (APAC, EMEA, Americas etc)
  • Exposure to advanced Excel, PPT & Visio
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics - AX
