Key Business Analyst Role

The Key Senior Business Functional Specialist supports business needs by capturing, analyzing and documenting system functionalities.

This involves understanding the business requirements to map to technical systems and having experience in database querying using Oracle PL/SQL.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Working with data warehouses and regulatory reporting frameworks is essential for this position.
  • Experience in Anti Financial Crime (AFC) and Transaction Monitoring is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A bachelor's degree or any related finance courses with a proven record of accomplishment in banking, shared services or finance industries are required.
  • Possessing work exposure in Transaction Monitoring on various products, regions and being well-versed in AML regulations will be advantageous.
  • Having experience in a Banking/Wealth Management domain and/or related support functions including understanding of products, business processes, and operational processes with exposure to business analysis is desired.
  • An organized self-starter able to manage complex environments is needed.
  • A team player who continually collaborates and shares information.
  • Continually seeks to simplify and standardize solutions.
  • Actively looks to reduce complexity and does what is right.
  • Persistent in drive for quality and excellence.
  • Architecturally-minded with ability to simplify complex activities.
  • Influencer and problem-solving person.
  • Familiar with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
  • Ability to work in Matrix organization with stakeholders across geographies.
  • Understanding of executing projects in agile methodology.
  • Ability to identify and interpret stakeholder needs and requirements.
  • Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and global organizations.

Ability to influence and motivate other team members and stakeholders through strong dialogue, facilitation and persuasiveness.

Necessary Skills: Business Analysis & Data Analysis with BFS domain or Wealth Management experience and good in Oracle PL/SQL querying databases.
