Job Opportunity: Senior Associate Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate to join our team in GST Advisory & Litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of legal provisions to deliver expert advice.
  • Develop and draft comprehensive reports, advises, and opinions to support client needs.
  • Prepare engaging presentations for client meetings, trainings, seminars, and other events.
  • Utilize data analysis skills to estimate tax impact on business transactions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with clients to build scenarios that optimize tax efficiency and drive business success.
  • Contribute to thought leadership pieces, such as articles and monographs, to showcase expertise.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and proactively identify technical issues while managing firm risk.
  • Handle complex tax matters, including preparation of submissions, replies to notices, appeals, and representation of clients during appeals.
  • Take ownership of smaller client portfolios and develop commercial acumen to stay ahead of the market.
  • Apply knowledge to deliver innovative solutions that bring value to clients and managers alike.

Networking and Identification of Opportunities:

  • Identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicate with the manager to explore possibilities.
  • Nurture relationships within the peer group and other levels in the organization to gain insights that may impact clients.
  • Compile and maintain legal databases, contribute to study sessions, and stay updated on the latest legal developments.
  • Mentor junior associates and guide them in their professional development.
