HR Transformation Expertise
We're seeking a talented Workday professional to join our team.
As an HR transformation expert, you'll play a key role in shaping our organization's human capital management strategy.
With your technical expertise and business acumen, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement seamless integrations between Workday and external systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and testing complex integrations using EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Payroll Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- Configuring and managing calculated fields, XSLT/XML transformations, and integration strategies
- Performing data conversions, migrations, and interface development between Workday and external systems
- Writing and reviewing technical design documents, integration specifications, and code reviews
- Collaborating with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent teams to understand business requirements and deliver Workday solutions
- Providing technical support for Workday modules, including troubleshooting integration issues
- Building and supporting APIs and middleware integrations with third-party HR systems
- Participating in HR transformation projects involving Workday and other ERP systems
- Supporting HR reporting needs using Workday, BI tools, and custom reporting frameworks
- Staying updated on Workday releases, enhancements, and industry best practices
Technical Requirements
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
- Workday Studio (complex integrations)
- Core/Payroll Connectors
- Calculated Fields
- XSLT/XML for transformations
- Web Services (SOAP/REST)
Cross-ERP Exposure (Desirable)
While not essential, experience with the following would be beneficial:
- Oracle EBS – PL/SQL, Fast Formulas, Interfaces, XML Publisher, Workflow
- PeopleSoft – PeopleCode, App Designer, App Engine, SQR, CI, PS Query, Integration Broker
- SAP/SuccessFactors – ABAP HR, Integration (Boomi, PI), Fiori/UI5, ODATA, HANA
Domain Knowledge (Essential)
A strong understanding of HR processes and fundamentals is crucial for success in this role. Additionally, you should have project experience in at least two HR functional areas:
- HR Core
- Payroll
- Benefits
- Talent Management
- Compensation
- Time & Absence
Soft Skills
To thrive in this position, you'll need excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
