Business Analyst - Pre-Sales

At Signity Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Pre-Sales team. This role is responsible for working closely with clients, sales teams, and technical teams to understand business requirements, propose solutions, and ensure accurate documentation and analysis of business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements Gathering:
  • Engage with clients to understand and gather detailed business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, meetings, and interviews to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with the client and internal teams to define clear and concise project scope.
  • Analyze client needs to define business objectives, identify pain points, and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Pre-Sales Support:
  • Work with the Sales and Technical teams to assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Provide insights into business processes and help align the technical solution with client requirements.
  • Assist in the creation of RFP responses, ensuring business requirements are clearly documented and addressed in the solution.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and internal delivery teams during the pre-sales phase to ensure alignment on project scope and feasibility.
  • Documentation & Analysis:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FS).
  • Develop process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories to convey functional requirements to development and technical teams.
  • Ensure requirements are traceable throughout the sales cycle and support project execution if the deal is closed.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure understanding and trust in proposed solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure all requirements are understood and feasible.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
  • Work closely with the sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure smooth communication and project feasibility.
  • Support the sales team during client meetings by providing clarity on business requirements and potential solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes, templates, and tools.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance pre-sales activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, specifically in a Pre-Sales environment.
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and client-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with business process mapping and functional specifications.
  • Previous experience in creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FS), and other project documentation.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Proficient in using tools for documentation (Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
