AWS Cloud Engineer

The AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale AWS-based product demo environments. This role involves integrating GenAI pipelines and engineering practices, utilizing deep cloud infrastructure skills (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3) and automation (Terraform).

This individual will collaborate with the Demo Center of Excellence (COE) and Product SMEs to evaluate scenarios and implement custom flows. They will also ensure environmental health through automated monitoring, alerting, and load testing (CloudWatch, AWS Load Balancer, X-Ray).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy AWS demo environments leveraging services such as EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, KMS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and AWS Glue.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform modules to automate environment provisioning, resets, and decommissioning.
  • Integrate AWS GenAI solutions (Bedrock, SageMaker) for scenario automation and real-time demo enrichment.
  • Collaborate with Demo COE and Product SMEs to evaluate scenarios and implement custom flows.
  • Implement RBAC, feature flag toggling, and configuration management via AWS Systems Manager and AppConfig.
  • Ensure environmental health through automated monitoring, alerting, and load testing.
  • Support automated QA gates, metrics capture, and post-demo knowledge management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in AWS engineering with strong C# or Java or Python development.
  • Terraform expertise for AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with GenAI or ML services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda).
  • Professional certification in AWS is preferred.
