Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to spearhead the management and support of our AWS/Azure cloud environments. This role entails overseeing the operation and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure, including directory services, operating systems, and cloud platforms.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Manage logical volume management (LVM) and monitor server health metrics.
  • Administer user authorization and access controls to ensure data security.
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain Linux/Windows instances in AWS/Azure, optimizing resource utilization and scalability.
  • Handle cloud storage solutions – create/attach EBS volumes, partition drives, restore from snapshots, and implement backup strategies.
  • Configure and manage EC2 firewall settings (security groups, rules, restrictions) to maintain network security and compliance.
  • Automate deployments with AMIs and CloudFormation templates, streamlining processes and reducing errors.
  • Migrate AWS instances across different VPCs, ensuring seamless service continuity.
  • Set up and maintain AWS services: RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB, and implement load balancing and content delivery networks.
  • Implement and manage IAM roles, users, and access policies to govern access and privileges.
  • Execute server patching, decommissioning, file system, and network configurations to ensure infrastructure stability and security.
  • Manage Active Directory and LDAP directory services for authentication and access control.

Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration, including scripting and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms, including migration, deployment, and management.
  • Familiarity with VMware or other virtualization technologies, and knowledge of containerization.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP directory services, including authentication and access control.
