Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead legal dispute resolution activities, including managing court proceedings, drafting pleadings, supervising external counsel, and coordinating internal strategy.
  • Assess operational risks in digital lending and services, providing proactive legal advice to business units.
  • Prepare, review, negotiate, and finalize various contracts including service agreements, SaaS agreements, partner/vendor MOUs, NDAs, and terms and conditions for digital products.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on partners, vendors, and digital platform integrations to mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide legal counsel ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations such as data privacy laws and consumer protection statutes.
  • Effectively collaborate with regulators, courts, and external advisors on ongoing legal matters.
  • Monitor litigation trends and regulatory changes, incorporating insights into company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) is required; an LLM or relevant certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation and contract management, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise senior management confidently.
  • Experience in digital lending or SME finance is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional drafting skills and strong attention to detail are essential.
