Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Manager to oversee litigation and dispute resolution activities, drive legal strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong background in litigation, contract management, and digital lending.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead litigation and dispute resolution activities, including managing court cases, drafting pleadings, supervising external counsel, and coordinating internal legal strategy.
  • Evaluate legal risks associated with operational issues in digital SME lending and services, providing proactive advice to business units.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, including service agreements, SaaS agreements, partner/vendor MoUs, NDAs, and terms and conditions for digital products.
  • Conduct due diligence on partners, vendors, and digital platform integrations to mitigate risks.
  • Provide legal counsel ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as RBI guidelines, data privacy laws, and consumer protection statutes.
  • Liaise effectively with regulators, courts, and external legal advisors on ongoing legal matters.
  • Monitor litigation trends and regulatory changes, incorporating insights into company policies and processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) required; LLM or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation and contract management, ideally within NBFC or financial services sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise senior management confidently.
  • Experience in digital lending or SME finance is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional drafting skills and strong attention to detail.
