Job Title: High-Performance Computing System Manager

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced system administrator to manage our high-performance computing (HPC) environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and experience with HPC cluster administration, user account management, and node provisioning tools.
  • This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our HPC environment, troubleshooting system issues, and providing technical support to users.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • Progressive experience in HPC system administration, preferably in a Redhat/CentOS Linux environment.
  • Strong knowledge of job schedulers such as Slurm or LSF, and familiarity with node provisioning tools like Werewolf.
  • Proficiency in Linux OS administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
