Job Profile: Linux Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Linux Support Specialist to manage and maintain servers, install and configure operating systems, and provide technical expertise in virtualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage server environments including cPanel/WHM, Plesk, Linux and Windows
  • Install and configure operating systems and essential services through remote consoles

Technical Expertise:

  • Virtualization tools: Proxmox, SolusVM, Virtualizor, Hyper-V
  • Server administration: cPanel/WHM, Plesk, Linux and Windows

Network and Tools Management:

  • Tools like routers and switches
  • DNS, email servers, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, IIS and MSSQL

Problem Analysis and Resolution:

  • Monitor hardware, applications and network status and proactively resolve issues

Scripting and Automation:

  • Familiarity with scripting languages to automate processes

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Effective communication with clients to resolve issues
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in server management
  • Expertise in server administration and virtualization
  • Proficiency in on-premise virtualization tools
  • Experience with automation deployment and monitoring
  • Strong understanding of networking and server fundamentals
