Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to fill a key role in our Edge Engineering team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software applications that drive our business forward.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as a primary point of contact for the overall health, performance, and capacity of one or more of our Internet-facing services.
  2. Gain deep knowledge of our complex applications and infrastructure.
  3. Assist in the roll-out and ramp up of new product features and technologies.
  4. Develop tools and solutions to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale Linux environment.
  5. Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
  6. Participate in a 24x7 rotation for second-tier escalations.
Requirements:
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or related practical experience.
  • 5+ years experience with administration and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux systems.
  • 5+ years experience coding in one or more programming languages like Rust, Go, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.
