Job Title: System Reliability Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure IT services and infrastructure uptime through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to minimize downtime.
  • Automate repetitive operations tasks, such as deployments and scaling, to enhance efficiency.
  • Respond to outages and production incidents, collaborating with technology teams to resolve issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive postmortems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze system performance metrics, optimizing latency, throughput, and resource utilization.
  • Guarantee reliable and safe code releases through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Maintain systems' security and compliance with industry standards by ensuring timely patches and updates.
  • Foster collaboration with technology teams to deliver new requirements and enhancements.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and configuration management frameworks like Ansible and Helm.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack, NewRelic).
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and experience with incident management.
  • Expertise in Elasticsearch and Kafka.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, load balancers, and DNS.
  • Ability to optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
