Job Opportunity: Linux System Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux system administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and configure Linux systems, including building and configuring virtual machines, installing software packages, and performing account maintenance.
  • Perform performance troubleshooting, manage system services, and implement system hardening measures.
  • Provide break/fix support and participate in release management and patching activities.
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Linux systems administrator or equivalent education or training.
  • Degree resulting in an associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant professional certifications.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ticketing systems.
  • Experience with enterprise systems for monitoring.
  • Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, CCENT, VMware VCP, AWS, Azure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in VMware environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud administration (AWS, Azure, Google).
