Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Operations Coordinator to join our team in Area India. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering quality support to Sales Execution and Sales Steering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Rate Quotations: You will prepare rate quotations, filtering of rate requests to ensure cargo identified and quoted is aligned with company aspirations and optimize vessel utilization in view of volume and profitability.
  • Rate Terms and Surcharges: You will follow the Four Eye principle for all BCO/tender contracts filed for MIN. You will also have super user access/knowledge of FIS for checking rate terms and surcharges.
  • Day-to-Day TM Discussions: You will engage in day-to-day discussions with Trade Management.
  • Quotation Review: You will review quotations on basis of contribution and imbalances aspects using FIS pre calculation.
  • Service Contract Proposals: You will coordinate with Trade Management for service contract proposals and special rate offers.
  • Free Time & Waiver Application: You will handle free time & waiver application.
  • Contract Maintenance: You will maintain contracts and amendments.
  • Bids/Tenders: You will handle Bids / Tenders.
  • Account Follow-up: You will follow up on account quotes and existing accounts in conjunction with all respective departments.
  • Filing/Publishing Rates: You will file/publish rates, service contracts and amendments with the FMC.
  • Customer Disputes: You will manage customer disputes including coordination with involved parties, e.g., Operations, Sales Execution.
  • Campaign Management: You will handle campaign management and coordinate mass mailings for customers.
  • Customer Data Management: You will handle Customer Data Management (Organizational Catalogue).
  • KPI Performance: You will monitor KPI performance and table it during weekly 1-on-1 with manager/supervisor.
  • Additional Tasks: You will perform any other Sales related tasks as requested by the Management.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Communication Skills: You will possess excellent communication skills.
  • Active Knowledge: You will have active knowledge of market, maritime documents, and commercial terms.
  • Sales Techniques: You will have active knowledge of sales techniques.
  • Commercial Role Experience: You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial role, preferably in the maritime sector.
  • English Language: You will have active knowledge of English 'maritime' language.
  • MS Office: You will have active knowledge of MS Office.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
