Job OverviewFund Accounting Manager leads the oversight and delivery of financial, investor, and regulatory reporting. This role involves high-level knowledge of various strategies and assets classes.Responsibilities:
  • Fund Accounting and Investor Reporting:
    • Lead and support monthly/quarterly financial, investor, and regulatory reporting.
    • Oversight and knowledge over number of different strategies / assets classes.
    • Support annual financial statement review and audit process management.
  • Group Reporting:
    • Final Review Shadowing of Management Fees and subsequent client Group Finance function reporting.
    • AUM/FUM information to client's Group Finance function Lead.
    • Ad hoc data requests from PLC Group Finance Lead workstream.
  • Administrator Oversight, Systems and Process Management:
    • Lead Fund Administrator assessments and feedback monitoring administrator delivery against SLAs and KPIs.
    • Client Operations teams deal recording in-house systems responsibility maintaining data integrity.
    • Adequate process documentation control for areas of responsibility.
  • Projects:
    • Lead ad-hoc projects for Fund Accounting operating model continuous improvement overall betterment function.
  • People management:
    • Oversee team Fund Accountants provide direction guidance review.
    • Training development team timely performance 1:1 reviews training requirements.
  • COE Specific Responsibilities:
    • Efficiency initiatives main point contact transformation ideas India developing.
    • Operational metrics management reporting requirements requests completion entire team owning documentation timely update.
    • Material issues impacting client deliverables SLAs KPIs timely escalation issues delays challenges.
    • Operational risk best practises risk mitigation strategies overall betterment fund accounting.
    • Mandatory trainings policy procedures followed team breaches providing active support Fund Accounting Lead COE internal deliverables prioritization.
    Key Requirements:You will have demonstrable experience:
    • CA ACCA CPA CMA master's degree finance accounting business at least 10+ PQE Fund Administration Private Equity Venture Capital accounting experience Asset Manager Fund Administrator.
    • Proven experience Private Equity Alternative Asset Industry 7+ years.
    • Strong knowledge private fund structures Debt equity reporting requirements.
