Job Title: Plant Manager - Spirits Production

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our spirits manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, safety, logistics, procurement, and finance. Ensure efficient production of distilled beverages and warehousing activities.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Manage budgeting, equipment selection, cost control, and plant commissioning. Drive production targets as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Formulate and implement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safety, quality, and security of workforce and machinery. Optimize resource utilization across departments.
  • Quality & Maintenance: Maintain in-process quality control and ensure continuous process improvements. Oversee preventive maintenance, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Vendor & Compliance Management: Identify and develop vendors; manage supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and statutory authorities.
  • Projects & Capex: Lead new capital expenditure projects and expansion initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & HR: Build and lead high-performing teams aligned with company goals. Manage industrial relations, labor issues, recruitment, orientation, and training.
  • Government Liaison: Maintain smooth relations with government departments and facilitate liaisoning for seamless plant operations.
