Construction Manager

A construction manager oversees the day-to-day activities of a construction site. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Preparing detailed plans and specifications
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, and safety codes
  • Directing or performing surveys and measurements
  • Estimating costs and preparing budgets
  • Planning and coordinating construction activities for timely completion of projects
  • Working closely with architects, consultants, and contractors on project estimations and designs
  • Performing geotechnical analysis and conducting soil tests for structural foundations
  • Providing accurate reports on work progress and budget matters to senior management
  • Ensuring materials and workmanship meet the project Quality Standards and Design requirements
  • Addressing any problems that might arise during construction
  • Ensuring the project complies with all building and safety codes

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Daily tasks include managing on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and communicating project progress to the team.

The Construction Manager will also collaborate with civil and structural engineers to ensure project goals are met efficiently.

Requirements
  • On-site project management experience, with a focus on civil and structural engineering
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong background in quality control processes and safety compliance in construction projects
  • Proficiency in using AI-based project planning and scheduling tools is a plus
  • A degree in civil engineering with at least 2-3 years' experience in construction management
