Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce DevOps Release Manager to oversee the end-to-end release management process for Salesforce applications. This individual will ensure smooth and efficient delivery of changes to production environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization. Hands on experience in Copado is also necessary.

This position requires proficiency in Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce DX, Apex, and Visualforce. Additionally, solid understanding of DevOps principles including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is needed.

Experience with version control systems and deployment automation tools is also required. Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Release Management: Oversee the end-to-end release management process for Salesforce applications.
  • Deployment Automation: Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using industry-standard tools to enable continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Environment Management: Manage Salesforce sandboxes and production environments.
  • Version Control: Implement and maintain version control strategies for Salesforce metadata and source code.
  • Change Control: Collaborate with development teams to review and approve change requests.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimizations for the release and deployment processes.
  • Release Documentation: Create and maintain release documentation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce DevOps Release Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization.
  • Hands on experience in Copado.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Experience with version control systems and deployment automation tools.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
  • Copado admin/developer certifications
