Practice Manager Job Description

As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for assisting Practice Directors/Regional PS Leaders in managing Professional Services. This role is based in an office environment and requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

About the Role:

This role involves building and managing professional services, establishing processes, procedures, and templates for pre-sales through delivery experience. You will work closely with consultants and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Development: Establish processes, procedures, and templates for pre-sales through delivery experience.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage and build client relationships with key decision makers from project inception to post-implementation; ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and provide coaching to consultants and project managers.
  • Project Oversight: Monitor on-site and remote day-to-day activities between client and CSOD personnel during projects.
  • Communication: Interact with account managers, sales, support, success, product engineering, and product management to ensure organizational continuity.
  • Reporting: Review weekly status reports and project updates that are within your portfolio. Communicate any escalations or risks that can cause escalations to the Regional PS Leaders.
  • Sales Support: Provide pre-sales support to the CEMs and look for opportunities to upsell to existing customers who are in flight on projects or recurring services.
  • Staff Development: Assume areas of ownership within the Professional Services department for internal and external development of staff, processes, procedures, methodologies, and areas of excellence.
  • People Management: Hire and train staff for project delivery while managing billable & productive utilization KPIs for your team.
  • Project Planning: Plan and manage services project/portfolio schedules and budgets.
  • Best Practices: Drive best practices adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
