Master Data Management Lead

We seek a Master Data Management (MDM) lead to oversee and manage day-to-day MDM operations, including data validation, cleansing, and enrichment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MDM processes and data governance, with a solid understanding of SAP ECC and proven experience in data implementation/integration projects.

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead cross-functional teams, set data strategy for master domains, and drive prioritization across projects. They will also possess strong analytical skills focused on improving data accuracy and quality, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee MDM operations, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex data issues and improve workflows
  • Implement and drive continuous improvements in MDM processes to enhance data accuracy, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Lead data migration, integration projects, and system upgrades to maintain data consistency across platforms

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
  • 7-8 years of experience with enterprise applications like SAP, Oracle, and proven experience in Customer Master data management and data governance
  • Proven experience, preferably in healthcare or biotech supply chain
  • Proficiency in MS Office and visualization tools like Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and resolve data issues
  • Experience in leading and handling successful teams

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Expertise in master data management processes and data governance
  • Solid understanding of SAP ECC and proven experience in data implementation/integration projects
  • Master data knowledge in Customer Master domain (Material and Production Master knowledge is a plus)
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and set data strategy for master domains while driving prioritization across projects
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, GxP)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills focused on improving data accuracy and quality

Good-to-have skills include:

  • SAP S/4, SAP MDG, SAP TM experience

Professional certifications in relevant data management or governance frameworks are preferred. Soft skills required include:

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
  • Team-oriented with a focus on achieving team goals
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
