Job Title: Senior Software Systems Designer

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Software Systems Designer to drive technical innovation across product development and validation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software tools, script development, and procedural methodology enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive technical innovation to improve AMD's capabilities across product development and validation.
  • Convert feature specifications into test cases that cover various types of testing.
  • Work with multiple teams to track test execution and ensure all features are validated and optimized on time.
  • Collaborate with supporting technical teams to validate new software features and OS introductions.
  • Lead collaborative approaches with multiple teams.
  • Mentor others to achieve integrated projects.
Preferred Experience:
  • Excellent programming skills in C++ (STL, C++11, C++14, C++17).
  • Operating system knowledge (Windows & Linux).
  • Linux internals, system programming (IPC, posix threads, system calls).
  • Experience with eBPF, perf.
  • Multi-threading expertise.
  • Database knowledge - MySQL.
  • Profiling tool development experience is a plus.
  • Debug techniques and methodologies.
  • PC configurations and troubleshooting methods.

This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality results and driving innovation in software systems design.
