Job Title

We are seeking a Senior Data Architecture Leader to lead our data engineering team and design scalable data architectures.

  • Leverage expertise in cloud native technologies, such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.
  • Mentor and guide team members on architecture best practices, ensuring seamless integration with business stakeholders.
About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, data structures, and algorithms, with a focus on backend systems and data engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data warehouses and lakes using modern tools and technologies.
  • Fostering collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Evaluating and recommending new technologies to improve data management and processing capabilities.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems and data engineering.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, and Shell Scripting.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, like Git.

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Hold relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer - Associate or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer.
