Sales Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the domestic market, specifically targeting government clients.

This position involves identifying opportunities, engaging with government agencies, and driving sales from prospecting to deal closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies.
  • Understand and navigate government procurement processes.
  • Identify potential government clients and assess their needs.
  • Develop strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales.
  • Meet with clients to understand their requirements.
  • Conduct needs assessments to offer tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on sales objectives.
  • Presentation and demonstration of our solutions to government clients.
  • Customize presentations to address specific client needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close deals.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from proposal to final agreement.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and address any post-sale issues.
  • Look for opportunities to upsell additional services.
  • Prepare sales reports and track performance against targets.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 8+ years of sales experience, preferably with government clients.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools is a plus.
