Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Credit Management Specialist to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end credit underwriting and monitoring of personal loan portfolios through a digital journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing credit policies to ensure accurate risk assessment and portfolio management.
  2. Collaborating with data scientists to analyze underwriting models and validate their performance on existing portfolios.
  3. Determining performance benchmarks and identifying corrective actions in case of breaches.
  4. Automating credit policies to minimize manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness.
  5. Optimizing pricing strategies based on segmentation analysis.
  6. Standardizing policies and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  7. Monitoring portfolio profitability and risk thresholds.

Performance Monitoring:

  1. Analyzing portfolio performance and recommending policy changes to senior management based on findings.
  2. Conducting regular credit reviews of existing portfolios and analyzing data to identify high-risk segments.
  3. Taking proactive measures to mitigate identified risks and optimize portfolio performance.
  4. Monitoring delinquent accounts to ensure compliance with company standards and benchmarks.
  5. Identifying technological solutions to improve existing processes and overall portfolio management functions.
  6. Analyzing various management information systems (MIS) to monitor portfolio performance and risk.

New Partner Integrations:

  1. Understanding new channel partner products and segments being catered to.
  2. Mapping customer journeys and identifying required data sets for application processing.
  3. Crafting policies based on product offerings, available data, and prevailing models.
  4. Facilitating data room exercises for new customer segments.
  5. Formulating policies considering expected loss rates.
  6. Overseeing policy implementation, UAT, and production testing to resolve bottlenecks.

Relationship Management:

You will manage relationships with partners, credit reporting agencies, and assist in all credit operations of the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate degree in Finance, Statistics, or Management from reputable institutions.
  • Preferrable qualifications: BTech with MBA.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience with 3-4 years in risk management and policy creation.
  • Familiarity with risk performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets using various tools.
  • Data-driven, analytical approach, and team player mindset.
Main Skills:
  • Proficient in Data Analytics, Model Validation, Policy Formulation, Portfolio Management, Stake Holder Management, Project Management.
Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in R/Python, SQL, Advanced Excel, etc.
