Accomplished Sales Director

Key Responsibilities
- Delve into the world of sales management by leading a team of sales professionals to achieve daily sales targets and develop business leads for our esteemed Hotel.
- Prepare a monthly list of accounts to penetrate for the following month, ensuring a consistent flow of revenue.
- Plan and execute site inspections/entertainment meetings with potential accounts to drive sales growth.
- Prepare and implement a monthly action plan for the main market segment, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular reviews of account profiles to optimize room nights production and average rate.
- Maintain a competitive edge by monitoring competitors' rate strategies, account penetration, and marketing activities.
- Assume responsibility for accounts under management, including contracting, updating profiles, and renewing contracts for banquet events.
- Update management on VIP arrivals and meet and greet accordingly.
- Upsell, cross-sell, and promote Hotel facilities and services to maximize sales revenue.
- Negotiate to achieve the best profit and rates for the Hotel.
- Engage with hotel clients and local community business events to network and maintain high visibility.
- Keep the Director of Sales & Marketing informed about market trends and business leads.
Main Responsibilities
- Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Be aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Key Challenges
- Define precise guest requirements and ensure that the guest services offered correspond effectively to their requests.
- Provide aftersales service, ensuring all guests' complaints are efficiently addressed.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with proven track records.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Work Arrangement
Full-time employment.
