Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic IT Acquisition Specialist to play a crucial role in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Management
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and suppliers to deliver defined business goals.
  • Develop and maintain client stakeholder matrices, ensuring regular engagement and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.
  • Sourcing Planning
  • Analyze spend and contracts to identify sourcing and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Formulate category-specific cost models to meet business needs.
  • Work with clients and colleagues to define and implement IT strategies and sourcing area plans.
  • Management of Sourcing Initiatives
  • Lead and execute IT sourcing projects from end-to-end, adhering to timelines and service quality standards.
  • Deliver allocated savings targets through effective management of sourcing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with defined sourcing policies and processes.
  • Sourcing Support
  • Provide sourcing expertise and support for client engagements and pitches.
  • Support the planning and execution of sourcing projects across multiple clients.
Requirements:Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, supply management, or a related field.
  • Additional sourcing/procurement certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong English language skills and proficiency in Simplified Chinese is preferred.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 12-15 years' experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence decision-making and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proven experience in sourcing and contracting for IT infrastructure products and services, office IT products and services, and cloud and datacenter services.
  • Deep understanding of license models, service models, and IT applications and infrastructure.
