Land Acquisition Specialist Role

At Green Tree Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd., we seek a skilled Land Acquisition specialist to join our team and oversee the acquisition of suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects across Maharashtra.

About the Role:

  • Identify and acquire land parcels for solar and wind energy projects, considering technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.
  • Lead the land acquisition process, including scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.
  • Build relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments.
  • Conduct title due diligence and ensure legal land sanctity through coordination with legal teams.
  • Oversee Right of Way (RoW) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies.
  • Ensure clear documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps.
  • Monitor land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to secure cost-effective deals.
  • Supervise a field team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants.
  • Address conflict resolution and any legal or community-related land acquisition issues.
  • Update management on project progress, risk factors, and mitigation plans.
