We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business operations, you will be responsible for driving category growth and revenue through strategic planning and execution.

Job Description

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with educators and multiple teams within Testbook to drive category growth
  • Onboarding educators for respective categories and working closely with the content team to determine improvement and requirements of the product
  • Understanding and analyzing market positioning, trends, and creating strategies to innovate consumer offerings and drive growth
  • Cross-functional collaboration to lead category-specific initiatives and coordinate internal and external stakeholder management, research, and analytics
  • Owning category revenue end-to-end through various means and stakeholders

You will be an integral part of our fast-paced environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a similar field, with expertise in Excel and product growth skills
  • The ability to work in a startup from an early stage and adapt quickly to change
  • Experience in building business cases and communicating data-driven learnings and insights to target audiences
  • Proven ability to plan and implement growth hacks/programs within cohorts and proactively monitor progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective measures
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with multiple teams to drive new initiatives
  • Basic product knowledge and online marketing knowledge, with experience in EdTech or as a revenue manager being an added advantage
