Overview

The Chief Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall administration, strategic direction, and operational excellence of the hospital. Key responsibilities include developing and executing long-term strategies, defining and monitoring organizational goals, overseeing budgeting and financial management, leading daily operations to ensure high service delivery standards, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation norms, building and mentoring a strong leadership team and workforce, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth, ensuring patient care and safety, and strengthening partnerships with external stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education:
  • MBBS/MD, MBA (Healthcare Management), or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Experience:
  • Leadership experience in multi-specialty hospitals, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
  • Proven track record in hospital administration, financial management, patient care, and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, risk management, and quality standards
