Senior Operations Director Job Description

The Senior Operations Director will oversee the end-to-end operational management of a hospital, ensuring a seamless and efficient clinical and non-clinical experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, encompassing outpatient, inpatient services, pharmacy, reception, diagnostics, nursing, procurement, maintenance, housekeeping, HR, and finance coordination
  • Lead and supervise departmental heads to ensure standard operating procedure compliance and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with medical teams to streamline processes and ensure timely and effective treatment delivery
  • Plan and implement cost-effective resource allocation, inventory control, and budgeting strategies
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, including NABH, Clinical Establishment Act, and safety norms adherence
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in quality, patient outcomes, and service delivery
  • Represent hospital leadership in cross-functional meetings and strategic partnerships
