Deputy Director Role Overview

The Deputy Director position is a strategic leadership role that drives innovation and efficiency across the organization.

This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory management strategies that improve delivery speed, optimize holding costs, and enhance operational scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elevate Operational Efficiency: Own key processes for inventory placement and allocation to drive business outcomes.
  • Innovate Strategic Solutions: Design and deploy cutting-edge inventory models and controls that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Optimize Resource Utilization: Ensure efficient use of space and capacity to maximize inventory turns and revenue.
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Identify operational gaps and drive the development of innovative, sustainable solutions.
  • Drive Change Initiatives: Lead key projects from blueprint to business impact, championing initiatives that fundamentally improve our supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with senior leaders across operations, category management, and planning to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Develop High-Performing Teams: Develop and motivate high-performing talent to deliver on critical organizational priorities.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years in e-commerce, supply chain, or operations, with a Tier-1/2 MBA.
  • Masterful problem-solver with exceptional analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
  • Decisive leader who thrives in ambiguous environments and sets clear priorities with minimal guidance.
  • Compelling communicator who can rally and influence cross-functional and C-suite leaders toward a common goal.
  • Proficient in MS Office and SQL.
