Job Summary

The senior technical support engineer will be responsible for providing technical services around Prisma Cloud technologies. This includes troubleshooting, best practices observations, and analysis of complex environments.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in a Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or direct support/consulting roles with customers. They should possess expertise in Cloud Platforms, Linux, API troubleshooting, customer interaction, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This is a critical role requiring strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot independently in mixed applications and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical services around Prisma Cloud technologies.
  • Manage support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups completed in a timely manner.
  • Perform fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues.
  • Publish Technical Support Bulletins and other documentation to assist customers and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to influence operability and integrations.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree/military experience.
  • Customer Support - 5 to 8 years of experience in a Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or direct support/consulting roles.
  • Expertise in Cloud Platforms: Proven hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Linux and API troubleshooting: Knowledge of Linux operating systems and API-based troubleshooting.
  • Customer Interaction: Significant experience in a Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or direct support/consulting roles.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot independently in complex environments.
  • Communication: Excellent skills in collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
