Workday Expense Analyst

A key role within our organization, the Workday Expense Analyst delivers critical support and expertise to ensure seamless ongoing enhancements of new Workday features and functionality.

  • Providing subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process configuration, integrations, data transmission (EIB), testing and other troubleshooting support primarily in Expense Module.
  • Helping our team ensure data accuracy and leading practice-based business processes and solutions through leveraging Workday functionality.
  • Leading Workday enabled finance Expenses workstreams to design, configure, test, and deploy business processes and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding business requirements, configuring the Workday solution, demonstrating configurations through the development of testing systems, assisting the business in testing the Workday solution.
  • Gathering configuration requirements and problem-solving with business stakeholders.
  • Assisting with broadening internal knowledge of Workday configuration through hands-on training to cross-functional teams.
  • Providing a proactive interface between business partner groups and the Workday team to ensure effective coordination and delivery of Workday implementations.
  • Building reports to support both domestically and internationally for various areas of the Workday product.
  • Ability to problem-solve and propose multiple solutions for business requirements within Workday.
  • Managing Workday upgrades and implementing new and revised functionality within Workday.
  • Partnering with HR teams to analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions within the Workday ecosystem.
  • Optimizing business processes by enhancing workflows, automating manual tasks, and providing actionable insights through data reporting and analytics.
