Structural Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Designer to fill this role.

  • Produce high-quality 3D models using Revit software, ensuring consistency with industry standards and guidelines.
  • Annotate, dimension, and detail 2D production drawings in conformance to company best practices.
  • Manage the BIM workflow, including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.
  • Maintain structural BIM/CAD files for use in structural design drawings, ensuring cleanliness and accuracy.
  • Interface with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Utilize tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.
  • Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions.
  • Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software.
  • Strong understanding of how a building comes together.
  • Ability to think in 3-D.
  • Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with Autodesk Revit software.
  • Knowledge of BIM workflows and processes.
  • Understanding of CAD drawing formats.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
