Civil Structure Engineering Position

The ideal candidate will have expertise in modeling and design of civil structures, including foundation, beams, slabs, and piping systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, and Advance Steel is required for 3D/2D modeling and drafting.

  • Develop detailed drawings and models for civil structures using software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, and Advance Steel.
  • Create general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and piping isometric drawings.
  • Prepare material takeoffs (MTOs) and bill of materials (BOMs).
  • Familiarity with welding symbols, piping specifications, and materials science is advantageous.
  • Review and comment on vendor drawings and engineering drawings.
  • Collaborate with shop floor teams to resolve fabrication issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and modeling of civil structures.
  • Preparation of GA, fabrication, and piping drawings.
  • Material takeoff and BOM preparation.
  • Vendor drawing review and commenting.
  • Engineering drawing checking and commenting.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, and Advance Steel.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with piping specifications and welding symbols.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
