Job Role: Telecom Manager

The demand for skilled Telephony Managers is high, especially those with expertise in cloud-based contact center solutions. This role requires developing technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to enhance customer interactions and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Establish metrics-driven processes to ensure quality of delivery and uptime of IT infrastructure.
  • Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure and manage infrastructure-related products and services.
  • Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct testing to detect faults and minimize downtime.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Design, engineer, and operate global contact center systems built on heterogeneous platforms consisting of cloud contact centers.
  • Work closely with business units, IT departments, and external vendors to align telephony solutions with operational goals and objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on best practices, including routing & workflow optimization, system implementation & integration, and incident response.

Education and Essential Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years' overall experience in the industry.
  • Good to have Contact Center domain experience and project implementation history.
  • Team management experience is a must.
  • Certifications in contact center management or NICE CXone platforms are advantageous.

Key Skills:

  • Strong operational experience, understanding of systems maintenance, licensing, configurations, and disaster recovery.
  • Compliance and security related understanding with respect to voice devices and various platforms.
  • Forward-thinking and industry trend awareness.
  • Enterprise Architecture knowledge, hybrid cloud deployments, and on premise-to-cloud migration deployments.
  • Effective team leadership and learning environment development.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects at a time.
  • Documentation maintenance for telecommunications systems.
  • Client-facing interaction and solution development for Telecom processes.
