Job Summary

The Center Operations Manager will oversee the daily functioning of our skill development center, ensuring high-quality academic outcomes and effective mobilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Develop and implement programs to achieve required numbers and quality standards.
  • Mobilization: Build and maintain institutional and government partnerships for quality mobilization.
  • Enrolment: Supervise enrolment processes to ensure end outcomes in terms of numbers and quality.
  • Training: Own the training process to ensure adherence to processes and high-quality academic results.
  • Placement: Monitor and enable student participation in placement activities and organize placement drives.
  • Student Journey Management: Ensure a smooth student experience from enrolment to placement.
  • Batch Progression and Outcome Monitoring: Track and analyze batch progress to inform program improvements.
  • Placement Support: Provide support to students in finding employment opportunities.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports on program performance.
  • Build a Culture: Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and social responsibility within the center.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and community partners.
  • People Management: Lead and manage a team of staff members.
  • Financial Management: Manage center finances effectively.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Administration: Oversee administrative tasks, including HR, logistics, and IT.

Desired Profile:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in the skill development industry, with 3 years in team management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in donor-funded skilling operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with patience and perseverance.
  • Ability to counsel students.
  • Inclination towards society and working for marginalized communities.
  • Prior experience as a Center Head in skill development projects is an added advantage.
