We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to lead our ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and coordinating IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management (ITOM) modules, as well as operational experience with various ITSM tools.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the configuration, optimization, and automation of the ServiceNow Discovery module to identify, track, and map IT assets across the organization's network
- Ensure the high availability, reliability, and performance of horizontal discovery and service mapping products
- Develop and maintain custom patterns, probes, and sensors to accommodate internal discovery requirements
- Establish and maintain discovery schedules, monitoring results, and reconciling anomalies
- Plan and manage the capacity of ServiceNow MID servers, maintaining and configuring them accordingly
- Collaborate with Service Owners and SMEs to ensure accurate service maps are discovered and maintained
- Participate in platform upgrade planning, testing, and validation
- Contribute to projects by preparing project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring statuses, coordinating efforts, validating team recommendations, integrating efforts into a comprehensive strategy, and delivering results on time
- Create and review system specifications, including output requirements, flow charts, and technical diagrams
